Inquiring Minds

The Herald Sun asks its readers:

Would you buy a parachute and use it to jump off a tall building?

Well, would you? Come on, don't hold back. If you feel strongly one way or the other, let your voice be heard. This kind of frank, open debate is what democracy is all about.

I used to have a contest on my blog about the Hun voteline polls.

You had to pick which answer would win (almost always incredibly easy) and by how much. You also had to try to guess how many votes. Closest won a prize*.

Usually they're just provocative; I think they were feeling a bit uninspired for the parachute one.

*Self-satisfaction.

I assume it's related to a story on base jumping, but when I first saw it I thought they must have handed over the reader poll to the guy who compiles the cryptic crossword.
