Subliminal Electioneering

You want us to vote for a frog?

Nope, it's the banjo that gets my vote.

I was going to do subliminal electioneering for all the parties, but I had to go to work. The Labour one was going to be particularly graphic.

Perhaps too subtle ;)

In today's Age:

"The real question now is just how influential will the Greens be in next year's federal election?

They were a flop in 2004, they were a flop yesterday and all indications are that the Greens will flop again at the 2006 federal election."

Apparently their vote actually decreased. I mean, I think 'flopped' is just Greens-hater hyperbole, but it certainly wasn't the result we would have hoped for.

Well, I probably should clarify that I'm not really a massive Greens supporter, although I do appreciate their ability to ruffle conservative feathers. Mainly I just wanted to post this picture.

This election bored me silly, but I was pleased to note that my electorate comprehensively rejected Family First. Nice one, people.
