The real revelation of the evening, though, was how relaxing and soothing it all was. This was quite contrary to my view that jazz was like listening to fingernails down a blackboard. He says that like fingernails down a blackboard are a bad thing.

Schembri Ah Um

Schembri is a goose. It's like the time he slagged off at bloggers and then, um, started a blog.
More than a goose. But it doesn't surprise me, Jones and Noonan would swing anyone.
YOu know, I had just about accepted his peculiar brand of film reviewing. Why on earth would they let him talk about something else he doesn't really like, I wonder?
Love that post subject.
Ah, relaxing and soothing, just like classical music. He sounds like the narrator in Graeme Leak and Frankie Lee's "I Love Jazz": "And then the singer came on, he was fantastic, great suit."
